Bevel Markers

Please keep in mind that some cemeteries may have rules and restrictions on the type and size of memorial you may set at your cemetery, so please check with your cemetery sexton or cemetery association prior to making arrangements.

Bevel markers, also known as "hickey" markers, are similar to grass markers in the respect that they are both set directly on the ground. The main difference, however, is the height (or thickness) of the marker. Bevel markers are approximately 6" in height, whereas grass markers are 4" in height. The back of the bevel marker will usually be 6" high, while the front of the marker is 4" high. This difference of 2" is what gives the memorial its beveled appearance and its name.

A standard-sized individual bevel marker will usually measure 2'0" (24") in length, 1'0" (12") in width and 6" thick (using the highest measurement). A companion bevel marker, which is a bevel marker for two people, will normally measure 4'0" (48") in length, 1'0" (12") in width and 6" thick. Again, these are standard sizes, and you may choose to go smaller or larger.

Please keep in mind that all monuments are washed thoroughly after setting. The memorials below may appear darker or discolored because the memorial was not completely dry when the photo was taken.
